Croydon Schools Sports Partnership and CNL hold Event

Croydon Schools Sports Partnership in conjunction with Croydon Netball League held another successful event on Friday 21st June at Shirley High School.

Children from years 4 & 5 who are keen to play netball were instructed and put through their paces with skills and drills instruction from coaches of the Croydon Netball League. Defending, attacking and shooting were all covered with assistance from the older secondary school girls of Riddlesdown year 9.

The progression from the Primary school game was ably shown by the older girls of Riddlesdown with an excellent showcase match. This was enjoyed by the youngsters who all took home a certificate of attendance.

With local schools keen to attend we plan to have more of these events in the future.

End of Season Rally 2018/19

25 teams took to the courts today .

Results Wandsworth v United A for the Cup. Wandsworth won 13 goals to 8 . Congratulations to both teams excellent Netball played .

The plate was won by Hs 1 won best Crickets 12 goals to 8.
The Round Robin was won by Lifeline E.
And best Defence of the day was won by United A.

The total raised for the Raffle was£125.00.

Thanks goes to Donna Adams the Tournament secretary and Julia at the Table and our Chairman Jackie Rowland for keeping things running smoothly.

Also thank you to all the umpires today especially those that played and umpired.
