Joining the League
We always try and accommodate new clubs/teams into our leagues. Please see 'About us' to find out what the general playing format is for each of our 3 leagues (Winter, Evening & Summer).
We have a few conditions that need to be met in order to gain entry to our Winter League, which is the most competitive/serious out of the 3:
* We run a central venue and all teams must play at either Shirley High School or Coombe Wood School.
* A club representative must attend our AGM (generally held in July). Its at the AGM we set and clubs pay the league entry fee.
* All teams must elect a club umpire to be entered into our pool. We organise neutral umpires for every game, but in order for there to be enough to go round, all teams must do their fair share. Umpires ideally must be C award qualified, but a trainee/working towards must have attended a C Award course, and been told that they are ready to umpire lower division matches and is planning on taking their test that same season is also permitted
All players must be affiliated to EN to play in any of our leagues.
